Viola Lawrence Gray, 92, Pembroke, passed on Friday, June 23, 2023.

Viola, the daughter of the late Gilmore and Beatrice Lawrence, was born on December 10, 1930, in Wilmont Arkansas. At the age of seven, she was adopted by Luther and Beulah Coleman-Guinn.

Viola was a member of St. Bethlehem Baptist Church and worked as a cook and retired from Medco Nursing Home.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Leslie Gray; Son, Paul Gray; Daughter, Sharon Gray; Son, Jerome Gray; Stepson, Barrie L. Gray; Sister, Susie Campbell

Survivors include her children, Willie J. Greene, Dexter Gray, James W. Gray, Marilyn Trice, Donna Gray, Bryan (Tiffany) Gray; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Special Nephew, Sidney Gray III, Devoted Friends, Michael Stevenson, Pastor William Catlett, and Cornelia McReynolds.
