Virginia Lea Woodard, 73, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, she was born July 16, 1947, daughter of the late Lee Allen Woodard, Sr. and Henry Virginia Coleman Woodard.

Virginia was a member of Good Shepherd Church, there she served on the Usher's Board, a member of the Choir and Culinary Committee.

Virginia was a former Dietician for Gainesville Manor Nursing Home. She was also a former employee in the Deli for Wal-Mart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake Byers and Lee Allen Woodard, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Belita (Desmond) Adams, Eric (Mari) Woodard, Nicole Hatcher, and Bethany Bryant. Siblings, Ezelia (Julian) Jenkins, Sophia (Walter) Roscoe, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
