Walter Patrict Wilson, 44, Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Walter, the son of the late Walter and Madie Shemwell, was born on October 8, 1980, in Christian County, KY.

Walter was employed as a line operator with Stanley Engineering. He enjoyed Karaoke and playing corn hole.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother.

His survivors include his wife, LaGina Drake; children, Sa'Mya Wilson, Taya Marion, and Deshawn McFarland; siblings, Eleanor Brewer, Cazander Stevens, Stacey (Tomekia) Wilson, Chantley (LeAndra) Wilson, Delreesa Wilson, and Marcus (Ashley) Wilson; 3 grandchildren; aunt, Fannie Radford; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
