Mr. William Arlester Duncan (sometimes known as "Brother") was born on October 18, 1968, in
Russellville, KY. Sadly, he passed away in Clarksville, TN on May 7, 2024, at the age of 55. William
was a kind, devoted, and lively person who touched many lives and left behind a memorable
legacy.
William is survived by his mother, Mrs. LaVaughn "Bonnie" Bibb Duncan his brother, the
Reverend Andre Lamonte Duncan (Mrs. Melanie Brown Duncan) of Marietta, GA, and his sister,
Ms. Loretia Duncan Seals from Clarksville, TN. He also leaves behind his nephew, Mr. Erik-
Anthony Duncan (Mrs. Michele Ackermann Duncan) of Tacoma, Washington, his niece, Ms.
Evanna Nicole Castaneda of Chicago, IL, and his nephew, Mr. Anthony Lamar Seals Jr., of
Clarksville, TN. Moreover, William leaves behind two great-nieces and one great-nephew in
Tacoma, Washington, three aunts (Ms. Mary Frances Woods, Ms. Joann Blakely, and Ms. Emma
Jean Stovall), along with a host of cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
William, a self-employed computer technician, was always eager to share his expertise with those
in need. Helping others brought him great joy, and he was a generous person who never hesitated
to offer a helping hand in any situation. Not only did William extend his caring nature to his work,
but he also showed it in his personal life. He was a devoted son who took daily care of his mother,
accompanying her to doctor's appointments and faithfully providing her his support in every
possible way.
William had a passion for sports, particularly the University of Kentucky basketball team and the
Tennessee Titans NFL football franchise. He also enjoyed car auctions and following the collections
of his favorite automobiles, especially the 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider (in blue of course). Besides
sports and cars, William found delight in the world of video gaming, anime, comic books and
graphic novels, archeology, and history. William was well-read on many subjects but especially
loved the genre of science fiction and fantasy which enriched his life with its colorful characters and
captivating narratives.
William's love for his family was a guiding light in his life. As a devoted son, loving brother, and
caring uncle, he filled our lives with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. Though he may
no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to radiate in the hearts of all those who had the
privilege of knowing him.
The life and enduring legacy of Mr. William Arlester Duncan will always be celebrated in honor of
the love, laughter, and kindness he brought to the world. Although he may have departed from this
earthly realm, his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough
to call him family and friend. When William hugged you, you absolutely knew you were loved.
