William Henry Leavell, Jr., 82, Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Hopkinsville, KY.

William, the son of the late Willie Henry and Annie Louise Leavell Sr., was born on July 4, 1942, in Herndon, KY.

William was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was employed as a plumber. He enjoyed playing cards and dice, and being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, George Mayes; and sister, Bernice Blaine.

Survivors include his sons, Carlos Catlett and L.G. Catlett; daughters, Joyce Dean and Daleana Quarles; stepson Quinton Quarles; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
