William Thomas Mimms, 54, Owensboro, KY, died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital of natural causes.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Allensville, KY with the Rev. Frank Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

A native of Guthrie, KY, he was born October 14, 1965, son of Clarence Johnson, Guthrie, KY and the late Sallie Mimms Thomas.

He was currently employed at Goodwill where he worked in the Warehouse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, John Fuqua, Clarence Mimms and Tonya Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Mimms, Children, Sheryl Alexander, Sherry (Pastor DeMoulh) Dudley, Terry Jenkins, Thelma (Dwayne) Redd, Kla-neshia Mimms, Aelicia Mimms, Amanda (Dartez) Ashley, Chelse Mimms, Siblings, Mary (Jesse) Dickerson, Margaret (James) Dowlen, Jackie (Marvin) Broadus, Kim Johnson, Klarissa Johnson, Darnell Sebree and 35 grandchildren.
