Willie Otha Albert, 89, died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at his residence of natural causes.

A native of Rutherford County, TN, he was born February 1, 1931, the son of the late Otha and Lillie Frances Wade Albert.

Willie was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist for over 45 years; there he served as Chairman of the Deacons Board; Trustee, Chairman over the Transportation and Grounds Keeper. He later joined Cedar Grove Baptist where he served a as Deacon. Willie was employed as Bus Driver (25 years public school and 15 years Head Start) for the Christian County School System. He was also custodian for Christian County Schools for over 35 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-Callie E. James and two grandchildren-Alaneon Grubbs and Jaeda Bussell.

He is survived by his wife-Patricia Davis Albert, Hopkinsville, KY; daughters-Chamica (Shaine) Onakomaya, Shannon Davis, Louisville, KY; Tarreka (Deariel) Bailey, Cassie Davis, Hopkinsville, KY; brother-Robert (Mary) Gaines, Madison, TN and six grandchildren.
