Willie Roy "Sonny" Killebrew, 76, Christian CO., passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, in Nashville, TN.

Sonny was the son of the late Willie Killebrew and Daisy "Corrine" Moss. He was born on February 8, 1948, in Christian Co, KY.

Sonny was baptized at Virginia Street Baptist Church.

Sonny was a Veteran for the U.S. Air Force where he was a Airplane Mechanic. He enjoyed playing the saxophone, horse shoes, fishing, dominoes, and cutting hair. He played for Church of Jesus for 20+ years, funerals, weddings, family reunions, different events and churches. He played basketball at Attucks High School. He also played with Jimmy Church Band & Hot Dancing and several other bands in the area. He played for the S.O.S. Band and Santa Monica Band in Dayton, OH.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Scott.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Regina Grooms Killebrew; children, Vanessa Collier, Jeff Robinson, James (Alicia) Robinson, and Mikiayla Killebrew; stepchildren, De Curtis Grooms, Sonya (Marshall, Jr) Gray, Crissy Grooms; siblings, Ruby Charity, Edward (Jan) Warren, Pastor Lesel (Joanna) Killebrew, Ronnie (Terri) Moss, Debra Quarles, Delma (Ronnie) Letcher; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 6 step grandchildren
