Willie Lee Steele, 77, Hopkinsville, KY. passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Born on January 28, 1945, in Christian County, KY., Willie is the son of the late Mark and Sadie Duerson Steele Sr.

He was formerly employed as a factory worker at Electrolux in Springfield, TN. He served in the U S Navy.  He was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Deacon Board and Male Chorus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Steele, 1 son, Willie L Steele, 3 siblings, Mary Sharrod, William Steele, and James Steele.

Survivors include 7 children, William Steele, Rhonda Steele, Angela Brown, Desmond (Dana) Watkins, Nekitia Lakes, Tanika (Nick) Bradford, Derek (Brandy) Jordan, siblings, Mark Steele Jr., Emma Knott, and Sharon Daise. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives.
