Yashshua "Butch" Muhammad, son of the late Othel Caudle and Mary Ann Barker Jago, was born October 7, 1952, in Christian County, Kentucky.

Yashshua was employed with Continental Mills.

In addition to his parents, Yashshua was preceded in death by his stepfather, John O. Jago; brother, Kenneth Jago; and grandparents, Robert Barker, Sr., and Mary E. Barker.

On Monday, June 1, 2026, Yashshua departed from this life. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda Babb Muhammad; two sons, Perry Jones and Greg Brackett; siblings, Lonnie (Ann) Jago, Bobby (Karen) Jago, Joyce Jago-Radford, and Shirley Jago. A devoted uncle/brother, Phillip Barker, godson-Gary Barker, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
