A precious life came to an end on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, Yogianah Shanae' McKnight.

Born on July 17, 2001, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Marcus McKnight and Evona Parker.

Yogianah was a member of Living Waters Church, Oak Grove, Kentucky.

"Yogi," as she was affectionately called, was a graduate of Hopkinsville High School. She was the record holder at HHS for the 4x4, long jump, triple jump, and 200 meters.

She was voted athlete of the week at Hopkinsville High and Kentucky Wesleyan College.

She started the black student union at Kentucky Wesleyan and also played on the girls' basketball team. In her spare time, "Yogi" enjoyed shopping, dancing, and singing. She was very creative, loved pageants, was a daredevil, and was a very hard worker.

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, three brothers, Donterius Parker, Arthur McKnight, Jazerius Murray, Ka'Tyvin Anthony, and her sister Shatequa
Holmes; maternal grandmother, Lestine Blane; paternal grandmother, Theresa Haskins; parents, Tevin and Quinnet White; one niece; two nephews; a host of other relatives and a wide circle of friends.
